A men’s canoeing and camping trip is planned for April 18-20. The trip is open to all men, including youth ages 14 and older.
The destination is Bergheim Campground, which is located near Boerne. The campground sits alongside the Guadalupe River.
Participants will travel to Bergheim on their own or in carpools Friday, April 18. Dinner will be served at the campground for those who arrive in time.
Saturday’s highlight will be a canoe trip down the scenic Guadalupe, followed by a campfire program and dinner.
After breakfast and a worship service Sunday morning, campers may depart on their own schedules.
This is a tent camping trip, but restrooms and showers are available in the campground.
Cost for the weekend is $60 per person, which includes all food, the campsites and canoe rentals.
Register in the church office with a $10 deposit. Full payment is due by April 15.
