“Come and Worship” will be the theme of Wilshire’s fall stewardship emphasis. Beginning in October, all worshippers are invited to place $1 bills in the offering plate each Sunday, in addition to whatever tithes and offerings they normally give. Read More

Crossings Class
Singles, men and women, Ages 22 - 30. Room 3304

Teacher: Mark Eggert. This class includes our young professionals, graduate students and is perfect for seminary or nursing school students. Mark Eggert will lead the 20’s age group in a variety of soul searching studies on Sundays mornings at 9:40 a.m. in room 3304, (although class first meets in room 3208 for opening assembly and announcements with other single adult classes). The class director is Liz Yarbrough.

Dennis Smith was born in and grew up in Tyler. A self-confessed nerd, he excelled in science and mathematics, but believed if he were a good Christian, he would become a missionary (his father’s brother was a missionary to Brazil).
