In Times of Grief and Loss

The mission of the Grief and Loss Center of North Texas is to walk alongside those who grieve and offer hope. The center provides support in a safe place where children, teens and adults can share their experiences. Unconditional acceptance, understanding, compassion and confidentiality are this group's trademark.

Through education and support groups, individual consultations, children’s day camps, services of remembrance, seminars and workshops, the center provides a host of services in an effort to offer hope to those who are grieving.

The Grief and Loss Center was founded in 2011 as a gift to the community from Wilshire Baptist Church. The church provided the seed money and currently houses the center. The Grief and Loss Center relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations for its ongoing support yet never charges individuals or families for its services.
