Family camp Sept. 19-21

Most of the time, camp means separation for parents and children. But a new camp offered at Wilshire this fall will keep families together.

Wilshire’s first-ever “family camp” is planned for Sept. 19-21 at Camp Copass in Denton. The camp is for families of newborns through sixth graders.

The weekend will offer a relaxing, fun family time with swimming, fishing, miniature golf, basketball, ping pong, volleyball, hiking, canoeing, frisbee golf and baseball.

Cost is $120 per room (covers two nights and provides two queen-size beds), plus $40 per person 11 and older for meals or $30 per person ages 2 to 10 for meals.

Space is limited. For more information, contact Laurie Taylor, minister to families with young children, at (214) 452-3105.
