Wilshire members support a food pantry with a monthly collection of food items. This in-gathering is collected every second Sunday of the month, but donations may be made anytime. The food is collected in wicker baskets located in the hallways of the church. The ministry is done in memory of Adam Malcik and coordinated by members of the Compass Class.

Bryan's House provides medically managed day care, respite care and residential care for children who are affected by HIV/AIDS or a family member affected by HIV/AIDS. Wilshire helps provide goods and services.
Wilshire helped birth this innovative congregation serving the Uptown community of Dallas. The church meets for worship at 11 a.m. on Sundays at 3601 Routh St., #110.
This is a ministry of the East Dallas Cooperative Parish located in Munger Place United Methodist Church. The center provides emergency assistance for food, clothing, employment and shelter. Wilshire participates with the Wilkinson Center in providing volunteers, food and clothing donations and adoption of children at Christmas.
For more than 30 years, Wilshire has partnered with Cornerstone Baptist Church to serve an innercity community near Fair Park in South Dallas.
Wilshire works with the Texas Human Resource Office to mentor families who are receiving welfare assistance through the transition to self-sufficiency. Wilshire works with one or two individuals a year in this program.
Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, an ecumenical housing ministry in partnership with families, volunteers and others, builds communities of hope, dignity and self-worth through the construction of quality, affordable housing and the nurture of decent, safe neighborhoods. The goal is to eradicate substandard housing in Dallas County.

Since 1986, Mission Arlington has served residents of the Arlington and mid-cities area with a wide variety of social and spiritual services, becoming a national model for ministry.
A group of volunteers assists with the noon meal the first Thursday of every month. This is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church serving a noon meal to the homeless.
This is a coalition of community organizations, both public and private, for the advancement of resident quality of life in the Vickery Meadow Community. This is done through participation in the Spring Clean, Fall Fun Fest, the Vickery After-school Program, and assistance with benevolence requests.
The center is an ecumenical organization supported by a community coalition of civic groups, corporations, individuals and more than 50 congregations and their members providing emergency-aid services to residents in the East Dallas area of ZIP Codes 75218, 75228, 75238, portions of 75214 and 75223, and those referred by member churches.
