There is no cost or registration needed for Play Dates.

Playground Play Date

Friday, June 1

10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Preschoolers, ages three and above, are welcome to join us for this come and go play time with friends on the Wilshire playground.

Mommy and Me Play Date

Friday, July 13

9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Room 1306

Infants – two year olds enjoy this special come and go play time with their moms and others who choose to join us.

Vacation Bible School

There is no cost, but registration is needed.

June 11-15

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Wilshire’s VBS is open to children who have turned four by September 1, 2011 through those who will have completed the sixth grade by June 2012.

Preschool VBS is available only for Wilshire members whose children turned three on or before September 1, 2011. Younger preschoolers from birth up may attend VBS if a parent volunteers to help in VBS. Registration is due by Wednesday, June 6.

Adventures in Missions

There is no cost, but registration is needed.

I’m Big Enough to Share

Wednesday, June 27

10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Room 1312.

Be part of a mission project big enough for any infant – kindergartner to enjoy. You really are big enough to share, by making cards which can be sold to provide money to support the mission work Wilshire is doing. Registration is due by Tuesday, June 19.

I Can Share in Dallas

Wednesday, July 11

10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Room 1312

Find out about some of the wonderful ways we can share with those living right here in Dallas. Bring a can of food and find out what happens when you give it away. We’ll also discover what Wilshire is doing to share God’s love with others in our area. Reservations are due by Tuesday, July 3.

I Can Share in the Dominican Republic

Wednesday, July 25

10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Room 1312

Join us for an imaginary trip to the Dominican Republic. We’ll learn about what Wilshire’s youth did when they went to the DR. We’ll also taste some of the food and discover what it’s like to be a child living in the DR. Reservations are due by Tuesday, July 17

There is a fee for two events; registration is required for all three events.

Pump-It-Up

July 6

10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Cost - $5 per child

Jump and play with your friends at Pump-It-Up located at 9201 Forest Lane, #100. Registration and payment must be received by Tuesday, June 26. Pump-It-Up requires each jumper to wear socks. You may bring socks with you or purchase a pair for $2 when you arrive. Wavers, which must be signed before you can begin jumping, are available in the preschool office.

Building Buddies

July 20

6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Multipurpose Room

No cost

Back by popular demand, this evening will be filled with all kinds of building fun. Come build houses, communities, bridges, skyscrapers or anything else you choose. Be sure to eat dinner before coming so you can spend all your time building with your family, friends or someone you’ve just met. Registration is due by Tuesday, July 10.

Frontiers of Flight Museum

August 10

10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Cost: $5 per child

Explore an airplane, jump in the bounce house and meet new friends at the Party Hanger, of the Frontiers of Flight Museum. The address is 6911 Lemmon Avenue, Dallas, 75209. Registration and payment must be received by Tuesday, July 31.
