Senior adults are a vital part of Wilshire's life. The senior adult ministry begins with Sunday morning Bible study classes but also includes Wednesday fellowship meals, monthly trips with Wilshire Adventurers and participation in a number of ongoing ministry groups. New Song, Wilshire's senior adult choir is a fairly new choir that was formed in the Fall of 2005. It is directed by Wilshire's music associate Sarah Stafford. Since its inception, it has grown to a membership of nearly 60 singers. Membership in this choir is open to the community and includes many people who are members of other churches besides Wilshire. Most of the membership are in their 60's, 70's and 80's.

Rehearsals are on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. in Room 3301, third floor on the north end of the building.  For more information or with questions about involvement, contact Sarah Stafford at 214-452-3121.
