Missions stands at the heart of who we are as Baptist Christians. We are united around the mandates of Jesus to go and make disciples of all nations and to care for those in need. Many Wilshire members are engaged in direct missions activities. A major portion of the church budget is devoted to missions support.

Serve with Us: If you’re ready to serve, Wilshire has a connection for you. Check out our Mission Projects page for both individual and group project ideas that may be offered seasonally or on a short-term basis through Wilshire to help our community. These span Missions and Advocacy opportunities.

Serve our Church: A good place to start serving is right at Wilshire. Your place of service may be as a Sunday School teacher, a participant in any of our music programs or as a regular volunteer in an array of ongoing ministries. Check out the Volunteer within Wilshire page.

Serve our Community:  Your place of service may be in Dallas but outside of Wilshire's walls. Our local missions partners include Gaston Christian Center, Gateway of Grace refugee ministry, Healing Hands Medical and Dental Clinic, the Wilkinson Center, White Rock Center of Hope, CitySquare and Interfaith Housing Coalition. Beyond Dallas, we work through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in global missions. Check out our Mission Partners page for information about these partners and how to contact them.

Serve our World: Perhaps you are interested in serving internationally. Check out our Mission Trips page for upcoming trip information for these and other opportunities.
