Wednesday noon programs

The Wednesday noon meal and study will take on a different flavor in July and the first part of August. Meals will continue to be served from 11 a.m. to noon, but the Bible study will be replaced for seven weeks with “This is My Story ... This is My Song.”

This special emphasis will present a variety of testimonials and music beginning at noon each week.

Scheduled guests are as follows:

  • July 2, Jeff Brummel, presenting a portion of his doctoral organ recital.
  • July 9, Estelle Slater, presenting “Hymns I Love.”
  • July 16, New Song presenting a concert titled “Sentimental Journey.”
  • July 23, Brad Jernberg, with a time of testimony and song.
  • July 30, hymn sing and quarterly church conference.
  • Aug. 6, Marv Knox, editor of the Baptist Standard.
  • Aug. 13, Gary Cook, president of Dallas Baptist University.

There is no Wednesday evening dinner or Bible Study until late August. But everyone is welcome at noon whether you choose to eat, or just come hear the program.  All takes place in the Youth Center.
