Another Companions in Christ follow-up group has been added to the fall lineup at Wilshire.
That means three Companions groups will meet this fall. The first is a 28-week group for those beginning the Companions journey. The second and third are follow-up groups that will use “The Way of Prayer” curriculum.
The 28-week group will begin Sept. 9. Through daily readings, reflection and weekly meetings, participants will be guided in exploring prayer, Scripture, vocation and spiritual friendship as avenues to deepen their faith.
This group will be led by Carolyn Strickland and Jennifer Redmon. It will meet on Sundays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 1205-L.
One follow-up group will meet on Sunday evenings from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. It will be led by Linda Garner and will meet in Room 1205-H.
Another follow-up group will meet on Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and will be led by Phyllis Gross. It will meet in Room 3211.
