Jason Edwards is a pastoral resident at Wilshire. He began his work in September 2007, coming to Dallas from a two-year assignment with the Global Service Corps of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He and his wife, Christy, worked in Thailand with the Upland Holistic Development Project, which ministers among the marginalized Hill Tribe groups. They previously ministered among African refugees in Paris, France. Jason earned a bachelor of arts degree in religion and English from East Texas Baptist University, then went to Baylor University, where he earned a master of divinity degree from Truett Theological Seminary. He has done additional study at Wheaton College and two linguistic institutes.
