Senior Adult Sunday School
Wilshire offers a strong assortment of Sunday School classes for senior adults. Most of the classes are organized by age. If you have questions, contact Minister to Adults Carolyn Shapard at 214-452-3104.
Open Bible Class

Taught by Asa Newsom and Craig Keith, this large class spanning a variety of ages  focuses on building an intergenerational community using Bible book studies. The class is directed by Art Trevino.
Men's Bible Class
For Senior Adult Men
Room 1370
Director Stan Bullock and teacher George Niemann lead this small-group class in systematic biblical studies.
Charlie's Angels Class
For Younger Senior Adults Room 2375
Director is Charlie Burgin. Teachers Alvin Burns and Coyle Stephenson lead this class through weekly lessons based on the Smyth & Helwys "Formations" curriculum. All are welcome to join this group of men and women in their late 60s and 70s.

Love, Live and Learn Department
For Adults 70 and Above; Chapel area

Director Clemmie Waters coordinates a department that meets together for opening fellowship each Sunday, then divides into smaller classes for Bible study.

Tom Bratcher class - a co-ed class that studies the BaptistWay Press (BGCT) curriculum. Room 1205J.

Lee Russell class - a co-ed class that engages in various biblical studies. Room 1205H.

Redeemers (formerly Joe Lee class) - a co-ed class that studies the Uniform curriculum series. Chapel room.

Love class - a ladies class, taught by Carol Smith and Pat Cullum that studies the Uniform curriculum series. Room 1205G.
Agape Department
For Older Senior Adults; McIver Chapel

Directors Dot Laux and Jessica Capps coordinate this active department of older senior adults who meet together for opening fellowship each Sunday, then divide into smaller classes for Bible study. All classes use the Smyth & Helwys Uniform Series curriculum. 

Ruth class - a women's class taught by teacher rotation.

Peace class - a women's class taught by teacher rotation.

J.W. Naul Class - a men's class taught by J.W. Naul. Room 1205K.
