Cornerstone Baptist Church - Cornerstone Baptist Church has been ministering to the South Dallas/Fair Park community for more than 40 years through children’s ministries, a food pantry, homeless outreach, adult and children’s literacy and computer literacy classes. Cornerstone also operates a Care Center which is a renovated 11-unit apartment complex. Youth programs, a clothes closet, meals, among other services are staffed with volunteers.
Genesis Women's Shelter - The mission of Genesis Women’s Shelter is “to provide quality safety and shelter to battered women and their children through crisis intervention and short-term crisis therapeutics and to reduce the occurrence of violence against women and children in the greater Dallas area. We are also committed to raising the level of community awareness regarding the pervasiveness and effects of domestic violence.” Genesis provides emergency shelter, safety counseling, Play Therapy and transitional housing free of charge. Volunteer opportunities include: working with children, assistance with resume writing, special events, clerical/office help and Thrift Store positions.
Gospel Light Eritrean Church - Wilshire has had a long partnership with Gospel Light that continues to be a strong bond between the two congregations. Gospel Light is a community for Eritreans living in Dallas.

Healing Hands Medical and Dental Clinic - A medical and dental clinic serving the uninsured in Lake Highlands and northeast Dallas. Volunteer needs include doctors, nurses, dentists, hygienists, dieticians and general office personnel.
Interfaith Housing Coalition - Interfaith Housing Coalition provides transitional housing, programs and services to help Dallas-area families living in poverty and homelessness.

Kids Hope USA - An in-school mentoring program, Wilshires location is Stonewall Jackson Elementary.
White Rock Center of Hope - an ecumenical organization supported by a community coalition of civic groups, corporations, individuals and more than 50 congregations and their members providing emergency-aid services (including food, clothing rent/utility assistance and some funds for prescriptions) to residents in the East Dallas area of ZIP codes 75218, 75228, 75238, portions of 75214 and 75223, and those referred by member churches.

The Wilkinson Center - The mission of Wilkinson Center is to transform the lives of Dallas families by providing pathways to self-sufficiency with dignity and respect. The Wilkinson Center provides emergency services including a food pantry, children’s program, computer lab, career development training, and senior citizens art class.

Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity - Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry that builds quality, affordable homes in partnership with deserving families. Wilshire participates in Blitz Builds in partnership with sister churches.
Mission Trips outside of Dallas. Wilshire periodically participates in mission trips outside our city, including mission opportunities in the Dominican Republic, among others.
