You are invited ...
All Wilshire members and friends of Wilshire and friends of George are invited to celebrate George Mason's 30th anniversary as our senior pastor. The dates are September 14-15, 2019.
Saturday, September 14: Ticket sales are now open for the 30th anniversary banquet celebrating George Mason’s tenure as Wilshire’s senior pastor. The banquet will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Temple Emanu-El, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open for a pre-dinner reception at 6:00 p.m. Temple Emanu-El is located on Hillcrest just north of Northwest Highway. Join Wilshire friends old and new and special guests from the Dallas community for this night of celebration and laughter. Emcees are Tim Krause and Torre Capistran. No more reserved Tables of 10 are available - only individual seats. Dinner tickets are $25 per person. If you are not sitting at a reserved Table of 10, it is open seating.
No paper tickets will be issued but we need to have a name for each seat so you can check in on the night of the event. You may buy your "tickets" online using your checking/savings account or your Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or Discover credit/debit card.
In addition, you have the option to donate an additional amount to help underwrite the anniversary events. You may choose to donate in the same transaction as your ticket purchase, or you may do so using a separate link or text. Underwriting contributions are fully tax-deductible, but dinner ticket purchases are not.
Text WILSHIRE GAM to 73256 to give to the GAM30 Underwriting fund using your text messaging. Standard text messaging rates may apply.
Sunday, September 15: One joint worship service at 10:30 a.m. in Wilshire's Sanctuary. Come enjoy special music by Wilshire's Sanctuary Choir and Cheryl Allison, a message by Gary Simpson of Concord Baptist Church of Christ in Brooklyn, N.Y., a conversation with pastor and author Amy Butler; and a few surprises along the way. Everyone is invited to a lunch reception in Community Hall after the service.
Stay tuned for more information about this monumental celebration weekend.
